About us

The Einstein Visiting Fellow position, hosted at the Technical University Berlin, complements the expertise in the Collaborative Research Center/Transregio 63 (CRC 63) on multiphase homogeneous catalysis. Various contacts to other research institutions in Berlin are used to increase interactions and strengthen the Berlin scientific landscape. Focus of the research activities is the use of latex microemulsion polymers as phase-transfer agents and catalyst carriers in the aqueous phase hydroformylation of higher alkenes. The phase behavior and phase transport phenomena are studied in cooperation with the partners in the CRC 63. The performance of these systems will be compared with the other systems investigated within Transregional Collaborative Research Center.

Goals and Topics

The goal of this workshop is to bring together scientists from the research institutions in Berlin and international top-experts in the field of homogeneous catalysis and catalyst immobilization and recycling to exchange and discuss ideas and the latest developments in the field. At the same time young researchers will have the possibility to meet senior experts in person and for networking.

We thank the Einstein Foundation Berlin and the CRC/TR63 "InPROMPT" for supporting this workshop.
