About us
The Einstein Visiting Fellow position, hosted at TU Berlin, complements the expertise in the SFB/TR63, InPROMPT, on Multiphase Homogeneous Catalysis. Various contacts to other research institutions in Berlin are used to increase interactions and strengthen the Berlin scientific landscape. Focus of the research activities is the use of latex microemulsion polymers as phase-transfer agents and catalyst carriers in the aqueous phase hydroformylation of higher alkenes. In cooperation with the partners in the SFB, the phase behavior and phase transport phenomena are studied. The performance of these systems will be compared with the other systems investigated within InPROMPT.

Invitation
We invite all interested scientists to take part in the workshop and discussions on the latest results on the application of catalysis for the sustainable production of chemicals.
Goals and Topics
The goal of this workshop is to bring together scientists from the research institutions in Berlin and international top-experts in the field of homogeneous catalysis, catalyst immobi-lization and recycling to exchange and discuss ideas and the latest developments in the field. At the same time young researchers will have the possibility for networking and to meet senior experts in person.
Who should attend
Scientists and engineers involved in the following fields:
-
- Multiphase homogeneous catalysis
- - Homogeneous catalyst recycling and compartmentalization
- - Homogeneous catalyst design and mechanistic studies
- - In situ spectroscopic studies on homogeneous catalysts
- - Reaction and reactor engineering for homogeneous catalytic processes
- - Sustainable and green chemistry and production methods
